Structured Rides were set up to offer something to cyclists that want to increase the intensity of their training with short, evidence-based, blocks of intervals.
The sessions are just like turbo sessions but out on the open road. They are suitable for most competent riders as the average speed tends to be quite low in comparison to other rides. The difference is when we do the intervals themselves. One week it could be cadence drills, the next could be 2 x 7 min hill efforts with changes in intensity halfway up.
There's always something to challenge you and create the training stimulus. The ride is not too serious, apart from the intervals themselves. Sometimes there is a cafe stop but sometimes there isn't as most of the rides start around 8 a.m. and finish by 9.30 a.m.. Want to know more? Email email@example.com
